Neck slot and turning the barrel

A nice lower half coil with resistance and smart hands/ TTB is what I have been preaching to my students. Their adjustability and POC has never been better. When they do strike out it's because they chase pitches outta the zone because their confidence is so high that they can adjust and still drive it. Lol. It's a good problem to have. Turning the barrel has made them fearless. I've never used the neck slot though. I've always used a vertical barrel back shoulder handset. I could see how neck slotting can give the hands something to do(nothing)so their not doing something wrong before they are needed. Probably will try it if I run into a handsy player.

Simultaneous TTB/slotting. Hands in control though.

Edit: hands starting the swing into its arc. TTB final answer.

Seriously..........Do you swing a bat. Do you drop your elbow than TTB. You do know that 'slot'/drop elbow than TTB is 2 moves. The swing(TTB=turn the barrel forward towards the ball) slots the elbow. Apparently it's JMO.

While it's obvious the elbow slots before the barrel is turned to the ball, starting the barrel turn slots the elbow.

I'm just making conversation. Did I say that slotting happens before the TTB?

I teach kids adduction + supination = ttb. We think about performing those two actions simultaneously.........

I just included TTB because of the deep arc/axis. Is there a connection between the two? Brett seemed to have a deep arc as well.
