Pushing or failure to release..... that would be the biggest ones IMO.... I have never spoken to my DD about hinge angle but she never had a problem with that stuff either..... when ever she was 10 she had a problem of not releasing the barrel, I will have to see if I can find some video of that..... I didn’t tell her to hold the hinge angle but a coach was teaching her knob to the ball literally..... so she would drive the knob to the ball and then right before almost full extension it was like a flick of the wrist..... It was ugly lol and took a long time to break the habit.

Release of the barrel..... here is a link of my DD a couple of years ago. I it was Butter that made a couple of gifs, take a look at the gifs and notice when the barrel starts to head towards ball.... I believe trying to hold the hinge could possibly have that outcome..... I hope the gif helps you to understand.

Not exactly. The downward portion is the back elbow coming down. The hands remain at shoulder level. Hitters who say they swing down and through the ball, almost always have the back elbow slightly higher then the back shoulder (the hands should stay at the shoulder level).

I think I see what you mean. Is that the downward swing you mentioned? The arms look cramped.
