If my DD I would stress a more vertical bat then GO(turn the bat forward towards the ball).
To much 'slop'/extra movements before your DD launches her swing. Faster pitching will become a problem if this isn't removed.

Merry-go-round swing with the bat 'flung' off of the ride:

Thanks a lot rd bass! I think she doesn’t do that when she’s front toss or live pitching. I will pay attention to that.

This is to give an idea of the slop and weight shifting after toe touch, losing the coil and not turning right away.

The first clip he is maintaining coil until the back leg/hip starts to turn and the body/hip is still coiled as the body begins to turn. In your DD case she is still shifting after toe touch. The ML hitter isn't shifting the body forward after toe touch, any shifting happens prior to toe touch. So she really isn't staying back, still coiled.

I'll be back

I agree with Rdbass that the barrel does get a little to flat. She's a little sneaky on how she flattens the barrel, although ideally the barrel shouldn't flatten that much.

Coil as you go forward. So she gets to toe touch in a balanced position so she can turn the corner ?

It's really just a matter of training yourself to turn the handle with just your hands and forearms. The other stuff comes later. Put the bat in the neck slot and turn it away from your neck as suddenly as you can WITHOUT using the body.

OP, this may or may not help you. The drill is nothing new. How it is used is well.. Let's just say, any drill can be mismanaged.. I don't endorse Epstein but He does have some things I agree with.
It may help you to consider what the front arm does AND the timing of when the barrel is acted upon...

There is nothing you can do with the upperbody that will cause the lowerbody to work correctly. You can view the swing as top down. In the top down model there is less of a chance for mistakes made in the sequence. Meaning the ground up model doesn't have enough emphasis on the upperbody. In the top down model for instance you have to turn the back leg/hips right now to the command of the upperbody. Although this doesn't guarantee that will happen correctly.
