well I dont think of my questions as random but to each his won.

You don’t like Rich. You joined here and BBD to attack rear legged hitting. Tell us what the front leg does and show us video of you or your students applying what you teach. Or just keep chirping. Either way.....

I do read some posters on the other site who argue a bunch about the legs in the swing but I joined for another reason. Same reason I joined here. Lots of stuff you dont hear elsewhere. And I can see the attacks are here too. Keeps people from joining up but probably a few dont care about that anyway.

Yeah I’m so venomous.....People in the rear leg camp don’t teach the front leg. You know that...

What do you think the front leg does?

The leaning back and trying to swing without using the front of the body makes no sense to me. I'm seeing players use their whole body to throw and pitch so they can get their best speed.

gibraltor,

The thing all hitters do is coil, what the stride leg does is style. I have a clip of McGriff taking a 2-3 inch stride and a clips of hitters reaching more. The stride is completely under the style spectrum. One hitter might carry the stride leg and another reach.

Two different animals....... There isn't a relevant timing window when attempting to throw and the sequence can be a little off and still manage a pretty good throw.
