I think it has to be more specific than that......

What is the driver of the "rotation toward the pitcher"? (What is the bottom gear?)

IMO I can bend laterally and still mess it up. I don't think "side bend" can be a gear........

Lateral side bend = Lateral Tilt.

Here TM acknowledges that lateral tilt is the top gear in the two-wheel model being used.

Lateral tilt is not the same as lateral side bend. One is a move that takes place in the hip socket, and one takes place with the core....

What FFS says is what has been demonstrated for years. It is how it has been taught for years. The demonstration TM shows is nothing new.

The topic is that FFS is promoting a rear lower back axis point for the swing. He is also advocating an action of spinal bend. Both are waist separation.
