Not to bad.

I think she is forcing the barrel forward or pushing. Most here would say to turn the barrel more and that might get the lowerbody/hips to start sooner.

A litmus test is whether the swing feels more powerful from just standing on the front leg or the rear leg.

Thank you! At one point she was a good hitter but developed some bad habits. Coaches pushed her down in the lineup and moved on. New coach is looking to help her and one area he said is to sync the upper and lower body.

Right Here For Now
She's not connected. Her lower half is lagging IMO. The hips seem to be a result of her hands pushing the bat through the ball versus the hips driving the hands and pulling the bat through the zone. In other words, she's out of sequence. In order to correct that, I would suggest that she go into the "Happy Gilmore Drill" then go into the "Step Out Drill." JMHO

ETA: Not too bad at all but some works need to be done.

I know she's wearing street shoes on a what looks like a rubberized floor....

It looks like when her left foot is landing it is not rotated enough and it is locking up her knee, and then restricting the rotational force of her hips and torso...almost acting as a brake.
