"Leaking power"... "Power Leakage"...great description! I'll be barkin' that at my DDs all the time now..."Hey! Your leakin' power!"

I actually use that phrase to great affect around my hitters. Of course, they've been with me for years and understand exactly what I mean when I say it. As to the swing I teach, It's a hybrid swing. I just prefer they keep the bat in contact with the ball as long as possible to make full use of the trampoline affect on the bat and ball and like to have them finish on the line they drive it low to high. How your DD's swing is up to you and has no bearing on what I think or teach.
