People in the know...How is this correctly used. What is the weight size on the 3/4 PVC pipe. Measurements would also be helpful. I'm assuming(considering the source) for 'turning the barrel'.
Added: Called a 'Swivel stick'.
One of the original "swivel sticks" I created a few months ago. Great tool if you want to generate more barrel whip, kinetic transfer from back hip thru the barrel, thru the ball
Swivel Stick in action: 1. Weight rep power/energy in hands 2.Swivel/knob up= pwr transfer thru barell 3. Swivel/weight moves= whip/no push 4.forces hitter to use 80% from backside vs 20% with a push

Yes 2.5 lb I left the 2 out.... Butter would you say the young lady in the video is using it correctly?? I am thinking that her hand action is lacking and not really turning the device as early as she should?

Thanks guys. Also thanks for the measurements. I'm seeing that the correct usage is doing the 'stop drill'.

She is shifting then snapping. I teach my players to just snap it behind them - don't use body at all. Just train the forearms. Don't snap over the elbow - snap/swivel around the forearm.

You mind explaining don’t snap over the elbow? Never heard that cue before. Is it snap the elbow into the slot and not snap when the elbow slots?

Snapping over the elbow or towards the elbow is hammering. We want swivel. Snap it away from you so the weight will move around forearm as it slides to the end of the pipe.
