There are several things I like in this swing. One is the walking away from the hands. It looks so smooth and natural. Just let the clip play and check it out.

The second thing is the lower body load. Even though we can't see the entire load, the back leg/hip is in charge. The back leg sets the front foot down into foot plant. I like the knee lift, lifts it like Griffey and sets the back leg (even though we can't see the entire load). That makes the front leg/foot higher then the back side and puts the back side in control for placing it back down. So the front leg is carried during the stride out to toe touch. Then the back side begins and plant the front foot. The back side is in control throughout the stride process.

I look for the back leg to load, take control, ride or glide (or shift) and then plant the front foot. I look for the front leg to land on the toes and then for the quad to contract after foot plant. That is what I look for in the lower body (legs).

I don't see the missing frames/overlap.......

Absence of a tight HPP. Arm plunge instead......

The important stuff is not present in this particular swing.......

Is this BP or HR derby? Also is he hitting off a mat? It's a fairly nice swing but it just does not look aggressive.

You think stretching should begin earlier?

As far as the tight HPP, this is a HR derby swing, few have a tight HPP. Instead they go for more whip out front.
