This is like Correa only at 60 fps. How much do you see of turning the barrel from the start?

I think the better question is; Is the beginning of the gif "the start" or is Frame 3 "the start"?

Some folks on here have claimed the swing starts much sooner than frame 1.

Frame three you can see the heel is down before the bat starts forawrd.

I can live with that. IMO he is loading in the first three frames. Still part of the swing but the turning of the barrel won't become very evident until after that......

Start of when/what point in time....
Also where was the pitch...inside, outside, or down the middle. Pitched ball has a lot to do with, when a hitter 'starts' the turning of the barrel.
Also this looks like a batting practice swing to me.

Yes for an outside pitch the pivot happens deeper and there is more turning rearward. Agree the pitch location makes a difference.
