I see a leveraging of the top hand, "V", in some of the older swings. In one of gifs of Bustos also, like they slot the elbow, turn against it, and throw the hands.
Just pointing out that the swing 'slots the elbow'. It's not,not slot the elbow THEN turn the barrel. Slow-mo video might make one see what they think is happening and not what is actually happening. Just saying....The hands are turning the barrel rearward,and forward towards the ball.

Probably is the slo mo, just see it in a few of the gifs. Most have the hands more in front of the elbow as they turn. Just thought it was interesting that some swings look like they have more of a bracing action to them.

1. Where's the umpire in the first image? Based on the crowd, I'm assuming it was a game-swing. Did the umps stand that far back?
2. Who's the hitter? I thought it was DiMaggio (#5) but the swing looks much different in the pic I found below:

Do you think its the cream or the clear!!?
Have you noticed any mechanical adjustments by Stanton? I thought I noticed a little more 'Judge' in his swing since the all star break but im not sure.
He's closing off his stance quite a bit with that front foot location.

Not that Harold Reynolds is the voice to listen to when it comes to hitting, but Hitting Twitter's been talking about Stanton's closed stance in detail for about 6 weeks.
