What do you mean his bat is behind his body?

I mean the bat is in the plane of his body from the start. It doesn't get there during the swing, it is there from the start. So there is a whole lot of "around" and not so much of "along" in the swing.

In this swing the barrel comes down into the plane of the shoulders during the swing. It is more around and along. But, the barrel isn't behind the body at the start of the swing.

added: So you could say that a hitter who swings more around their body isn't out from their body (somewhat, not really, just the look it gives you).

Confusion over the core/torso's role in the swing. It does not turn you or the barrel forward. Even as BBR continues to try and rip off HI he is still getting it wrong.

I'm sure there is confusion on the core's role in the swing. Heck, folks seemed to take issue with the lateral side bend action being the vertical gear in the two-gear-analogy ... which shouldn't have been confusing at all. The core is most definitely involved with the barrel's arcing action.

Who is BBR? What is BBR attempting to rip off from HI? Sounds like drama.

Miggy has an awesome swing but I usually don't use him for comparison because he has probably the most tight and compact swing of any elite hitter you look at. If you did not know any better or the results were not there you would almost want to coach more separation and walking away from hands but obviously results speak for themselves, he is also one of the bigger stronger guys around which probably helps

I think Miggy is different now compared to the gif I posted.

Not here.

I wonder if BBR/Chaz is going to give refunds to all the hitters that they taught the 'jump/leap'/momentum based swing to get all the weight forward.
Chaz's hitters can't wait to get to the front side/leg/foot fast enough.
Also show me one hitter who doesn't use his/her core. Not saying correctly but, a hitter that doesn't use their core.
