Thats right you were impling I believe the upstream stuff doesnt matter. l

Never said that or implied that..only implied that you don't call that part of the swing which is the case right??

What I am not understanding is what point you are trying
to make here? Maybe there is a backstory that I am missing from your initial DD's thread but it seems pointless to keep
bringing up the same thing when you agree with most that just turning the bat towards the ball isn't enough..

Not here.
No one can produce MLB video showing the bat moving towards the ball with the front foot in the air, so the answer is no!

If Adair said swing starts at heel plant it would be closer to the truth. Before heel plant its just looking thinking deciding.

At least you changed from this:
ian said:The swing starts when the front foot hits the ground. You know that buddy. You cant start the swing until the front foot hits the ground, silly.
To this:

You're still wrong but, at least you know that the swing STARTS before the front foot hits/touches the ground. You're welcome.... HaHa

Barry's just "looking, thinking, deciding"....nothing else going on.....lol

Post more gifs of MLB players up stream movements. Its a very important part of hitting. Important to see where they are at heel plant.

Is 'foot hitting the ground' toe touch or heel plant in your mind?

Hmmm.

What is a toe?

What is a heel?

What is a foot?

Good post RDB. Lots for you to think about.

I think if you look at your DDs thread you will get the point.

? If you are implying that my DD's swing is not real good at the moment I would agree. My DD has lots to work on, never said otherwise. I have also found all the comments there to be useful and
haven't noticed anybody not giving constructive criticism.

I wasn't worrying about your DD, I was curious as to why you seem to have a bone to pick and what that bone actually is? I thought maybe there was something in that thread which would
answer my question. Wasn't trying to slander your DD at all. I apologize if it came across like that.
