Here's an example of very outside,
On an inside pitch the hands have to get out in-front of the body. The outside pitch is very different between these two clips.

Good clips Shawn. Any particular point?
I see pivoting, oar lock effect and the hands just being a rotational point. I don't see snapping the barrel backwards.

Hi Shawn, I changed one word in your post, and I wonder if you would still agree with that sentence?
Early on in swing there is overcoming inertia, so I don't think there a ton of turning. As the swing unfolds then yes there is turning.
I always liked 'turning the barrel froward towards the ball'.
Notice the white label at the top of the barrel as it goes from the back(rearward) of the barrel to the front(forward) of the barrel towards the ball.
I could buy that explanation!
