When his swing matches Rich, and his son's swing let's re-visit his numbers... He mentioned Sanchez being into his legs last night.. What was that suppose to mean ?

Not sure what you are referring to....PM me. I'd be happy to answer any questions for you

Pretty good first post back! He does that uptick in games many times as well. Last nights uptick was huge, maybe even approaching the dreaded "dump".......The communication is frequent.......

Oh man, I remember when "dump" was used as a boogeyman against HPP. Of course, the pre-dominant model when I started reading these boards (7 or so years ago!) was "connect and spin." There were quite a few "experts" who used the unchanging hinge angle as evidence that the hands were dead.

Even more than that, I think. The old swing looks a lot like push/block/push with the barrel only getting up to speed way out front. The current swing is all about staying around the rear leg as long as possible. The hands are active so much earlier.

Another good one........Load and unload vs Loading on around. On the right you cannot tell where the load ends and the swing begins.....Seamless......

Thanks. By the way, there was some discussion of Correa a few pages ago. What Correa does is a lot like what Adam Jones does (did?, I haven't seen video of his swing in probably 4 years). They both kinda turn the barrel, but they both pull way more with the lead arm than someone like Cabrera/Judge.

Yes, this is the best way to describe it I think. Old swing he loads "back" holds it unloads out of it. New swing it never stops moving around the arc.

This is my first post in... well, I have no idea how long, honestly.

I don't know what the relationship between TM and Judge is, so I'm not going to commentate on it. That being said, both him and Scott Kingery (whom I'm fairly certain TM has worked with) are signed to the same sports agency. That agency employs... ready? Dave Matranga/Hiddengem (from way back in the day), so it wouldn't be a shock if HG at least discussed TM's material with them.

I do know that Judge did something that looked a lot like the "uptick drill" last night while waiting to swing.

Matranga's agency took TM to the All-Star festivities in Miami. So...
