He is really into the back hip and coiled. Really hits from the backside. I bet his old swing is nothing like the new swing.

Glad my posts/post woke/wake you up. Oh yeah, you need to 'get out more'.

It was a sincere question.

Get out more? I've been out in 100+ since 3 and just came back in. I'm really proud of my hitters. We hit up until 8 tonight. I am, however, a little sick from the heat. I over did it some. Wife is not happy.

LOL you know that article is from last season right? Nothing to do with his .330 Avg and 30 homers this season........Carry on....

When these players come out and mention his name, I'm not sure what you guys are going to do next........

When his swing matches Rich, and his son's swing let's re-visit his numbers... He mentioned Sanchez being into his legs last night.. What was that suppose to mean ?

The old swing it looks like he unloads the back hip early and shifts forward against the front leg that tries to pick up the slack by forcefully pushing back.

It looks like in the old swing he is really using the front leg to create rotation.

Even more than that, I think. The old swing looks a lot like push/block/push with the barrel only getting up to speed way out front. The current swing is all about staying around the rear leg as long as possible. The hands are active so much earlier.
