Thanks for posting the link...but I still want to SEE how it's calculated.

Or at least see a visual comparison of 2 swings and see how the Blast Factor is used to compare those 2 swings.

I'd like to see Miggy vs. Judge in a Blast Factor Showdown.

DD's (just turned 12) hitting coach just started using that Blast Motion a week or so ago. This is a BF of 80.

Yes, and those numbers he posted, if true, are something to be proud of but if he is worried
about critique then eventually his DD is going to suffer because of that attitude. There are
plenty of critiques of top MLB draft pick swings and few if any have no things they can improve
upon. Hitting a ball is hard....nobody should expect a 13 year old to be perfect...

You bring up good points, but peanut is saying his dd is perfect. So I would love to see a perfect swing. Also numbers don't mean anything. I have seen high exit speeds on a swing that wouldn't get the ball out of the infield and against a half way decent pitcher would be swing hard at air. Not saying peanuts dd is that hitter. I don't want to get beat up so I better add that and I don't want peanut using up all is frequent flyer miles up, flying around the country beating people up on the internet that don't agree with him.

The numbers I was talking about were the HR numbers posted in the Shameless Parents Brag forum linked to by rdbass.

Reread the post moron I said my daughter has her bat pathway pretty solid that is in no way perfect you read it as perfect because maybe your jealous or like I said in other words a pain in the rear dad who cant believe that Someones daughter knows how to swing the bat well at her age. I can never ever say anything negative about someones daughter or not believe it if a dad posts it and if I don't believe it I wouldn't call someone out on it or want to see the swing. And I'm not that old and don't look like that dude in the red tank top.But I'm sure someone on this forum might be in Rosemont,Ill and will see me and know me.But like I said a bunch of pain in the rear dads who just have to be a rear on a forum behind a key board

And isnt what that forum is for to brag about your Daughter and in my opinion 7 HR over the fense and 4 of them deep center in 40 games I think is pretty good,but someone has to take it as something else when all I asked was this a good Bat speed and look where some of these nut job fathers took it to and you dont think I'm not going to defend my daughter or what she accomplished.If this is what this forum is about then you girls can post away

Nobody is knocking you for posting those numbers in that forum. Like I said, if true, then those are impressive and you should be commended.

I don't want to get involved in a sh** slinging contest but your exact quote was her "mechanics are dead-on" Most 13 year olds don't have "dead-on" mechanics hence everybody is asking to see a video. That is all. If they are dead-on as you say then I am sure you will get much praise for your work with her. If not then I am sure there will be some good comments to help you with improving your DDs mechanics.
