Lead arm rises up and away from the body(supported by the front Lat/scap) BUT doesn't turn forward(rotate) with the pelvis...YET
The rear arm goes under the front arm supported by the rear Lat/scap
There is a torgueing in the rib cage area that allows time for the body to work underneath(separation).....X Factor stuff

Oh, and for Spartans....
The lead side Lat/scap area needs to work to lift and extend so the rib cage doesn't follow the pelvis right away, equal and opposite of the rear side Lat/scap pulling back and down.. These 2 action need to be balanced.

both Lats/scaps pulling back/down in the clip below, The swing is in the shoulders....no separation... "No shoulder bypass"

Everything above the hip resisting the rear leg turning forward.

I would first determine if shes turning it. Thats all overplayed. Most will turn it naturally. A lot of coaches teach robotics, theyntake all of the athletic factor out of or they never even consider it. If she isnt turning it. Tape a tennis ball on the bat. See where she hits a heavy bag in relation the the tennis ball. Over teaching the handle torque witha rookie can be bad bad bad news

Where are you finding these kids!? I'd say most do not turn it, they pull it....

Sorry, I am only asking you to explain yourself so I have a better understanding... I asked if your bottom hand palm is facing down, how can your top hand palm not be facing up.. now I don't mean literally parallel to the ground, it all depends on the torso tilt as well which was already established.

.... because the top-hand palm and bottom-hand palm are generally not parallel with one another.

Where in this swing do you see the palms parallel with one another? I don't see it myself.

Let's zoom in at contact ....

Even at contact I don't see the palms parallel with each other.

What are your thoughts towards the palms facing each other during the initial hand set? Do you believe that this will cause a problem? If so, in what way? Thanks in advance.

Another question for members is with regards to hitting a riseball up in the zone. What would the hands look like then?

Not what I'm looking for.

However, I'm reasonable and can be convinced otherwise ... show me a GIF or snapshot of the hands parallel during the initial hand set.

The first person that comes to mind is Pujols. He seems to have more wrist extension in the bottom wrist than most. I believe that's what it's called. When I try it myself I come to a conclusion that it may help a hitter from collapsing the lead arm but I am just thinking out loud.
