12U, 5'4" bat is 31/20.
Was hitting well in April first few tournaments. Last three weekends hitting slump. Coach plays those who hit on Sunday game two (she's one of the best fielders and is now on the bench for that game). Have been practicing, part is mental. We get it, but she wants off the bench so we trying to figure this out.

Has the quality of pitching she's facing changed?

And has she offered any thoughts as to why she feels she's not hitting?

Not here.
First off your DD has an open stance, strides and remains open on both outside pitches. First pitch outside and then second pitch they pitch her further outside.

I could be wrong and please somebody correct me if I am but it looks like a lot of weight distribution on her front leg which is leading to what looks likes "casting" and bat drag. Agreed about the open stance as well, in those two swings it looks like she is using a lot of arms.

Playing similar teams (some several times) on her Travel team. But she did play on her middle school team and that was not good level & timing somewhat coincides with that. Her thoughts are that she is not swinging right. She was Ok with practicing and working through it until she sat game two last Sunday. Then she was unhappy (we originally approached it as everyone struggles and don't get down work though it, the bench thing really bugged her (now she feels bad and it a bit stressed)) especially since two kids were making errors. Coach could have done the DH thing but chose not to. I wasn't happy either but she does have to work at getting back to where she can hit again. Middle school is over and she is working diligently. Tee work, swing away front toss drills.

Casting because of the outside pitches(dad correct me if I am wrong). Has nothing left to do after the hitter has an open stance, strides, and remains open on an outside pitch but, use her arms.
Added: forget about that 'mental' crap. If a hitter is hitting the ball that 'mental' crap goes away. The problem is always mechanical and your DD's problem is a mechanical problem.

makes sense, she is reaching for that outside pitch and using a lot of arms. Weight does seem a little forward to me though, preventing her from reacting to the outside pitch regardless of the open stance

You're missing the point open stance is fine/OK. Once a hitter strides they need to stride towards the plate. Not stride and remain open. Hitter will 'run out of bat' on an outside pitch if the remain open.
