My guess is it's happening more often then 2 of 5.

The upperbody is starting to early and she levels out as she drifts forward until she tries to use the body late.

The drift fwd wouldn't be so bad if she first drifted back. But she starts out centered, then moves forward, almost lunges for it. Lots of swings posed here are described as an all back, all forward (AB/AF). Your daughter's swing looks to just be All Forward.

Sorry for lack of a solution. It's much easier to diagnose the problem than solve it!

Maybe work on keeping the front knee behind the front foot. One way may be to work on coiling before swinging (have her think about turning her front hip back toward the catcher to start). Another thing to try is get her to feel pressure on the inside of her rear foot - rather than "swaying" forward OVER her front leg, she should be stepping or at least shifting INTO her front leg.

Please keep posting.Fixing a swing is never a (single) weekend project!.

Coach Candrea would fix this, by working on her infield throw, from 2nd base to first base. It is the same weight shift and hand motion. Then, he would hand her a bat and encourage her to "sit" as if she is leaning back on a kitchen stool.
He would tell her "throwing is hitting and hitting is throwing." He made a believer out of me.

I would definitely start with the lower half. Not sure how she looked her other 3 ABs but I'd say judging from the 2 videos, she's never learned how to use her lower half? Obviously, she's a big strong kid so when she does make good contact it will fly but how consistent is she? Another issue I see with her swing are her hands dropping and like Shawn said, the upper body is starting too early. So my recommendation would be to study the sequence of "the swing". You'll hear it a million times....My suggestion...
1. Body awareness-study the pros and see what they do baseball&fastpitch
2. Learn weight transfer
3. Seperation
Obviously, theres a lot more that goes on but that's what I would work on. Coach Candrea is correct "throwing is hitting and hitting is throwing". Thanks Amy! In my playing days that was a term used religiously.

A negative move might need to be added. I would do that with a forward by coil.Search that , it should get you started removing the "All forward". Maybe the "feet together step and hit drill" will help as well. Sequence...

Happy Easter All!
