I could see the guys intenationally affiliating with a controversial figure like Rich to get a little more attention for their product they sell. Basically like trump who said a lot of outrageous stuff and got more attention, bad publicity is publicity too.

That approach was better than when that one crook was running for office. Never answered a question or held a Q&A with the press and when things get tough just fake an injury, pull a hammy and stumble alot, maybe bobble your head around and hope for the sympathy vote. Would have worked if the people wouldn't have seen those darn emails.
