I'd love to hear a good way to do this as well. The only way I am capable of doing it now is by opening two gifs on quicktime, putting them right next to each other, playing them on loop, and doing a new screen recording. The problem with this is that it is almost impossible to sync them up how you would like.....

I had a way before. I had a program called Swinger which was an analysis software program. I could sync the videos and then used an screen capture program that would let take a snap shot (you can select on area of your screen). I would advance the the clip 1 frame take a snap shot and so on and so on.

The software doesn't seem to want to record starting paused and letting me take a snap shot. I don't know if it's a windows 8 problem or what. The program is hypercam. The older version I have isn't working, isn't recording in paused mode, so I downloaded the latest version and it isn't working.

Yeah I tried to use quicktime as well. But there has to be a better way then doing it with quicktime.

Adobe Premiere (both Pro and Elements) have automatic tools to do this. However, I never use them. The easiest way to sync up 2 videos, is to lay them on top of each other in a timeline (in whatever program you use). Get them visibly close. Then, move the video to a point where there is a sharp sound (usually a bat crack). Now zoom into the audio wave form. Adjust the location of one video until the waveform peaks line up. There you go. Perfectly sync'ed.

EDIT: It just occurred to me that I didn't properly read the OP. My response was based on multiple angles of the same video footage, not synchronizing multiple, non-related, snippets. Sorry.

I was wondering how to make side by side videos. I want to sync up the videos in a side by side comparison.

Please help

the Videos you see on YouTube doing that are probably using right view pro, powerchalk or something like that. I think you have to pay for that though and there might be free or cheaper Options.

PowerDirector has that too. You can try the trial version first. I believe its called "tiles"

With two cameras set them up and yes you have to either do a "clap" or maybe have the person your filming raise their hands or something so you know where to start and finish.

Coache's Eye is a good video analysis program which allows for easy side by side comparison. Just sync up each video when the ball connects to the bat.
