Well decided to make a couple of hitting videos for everyone to check out. My DD plays 8u travel, she has played almost a year. I have practiced a lot with her, this being our 4th or 5th time outside this year with me pitching.

I didn't pitch very well today, still working the cobwebs off my arm, LOL. It will get better I hope. Be honest and let me know.

Im just a bucketdad. Keep it simple. Tone down the leg kick. There's some great post on here that start from the beginning. I'm driving right now. I'm sure someone can get you heading in the right direction.

LOL, She's a character.....
I love Her intensity, allow Her to use Her athleticism, don't try to control it, just guide it.
Are those door knocking knuckles lined up? I would relax that grip and quit looking at the camera DAD so you can throw better pitches>>>>LOL Great stuff.

She loves hitting when it is nice she will hit 100+ balls a day. Today and yesterday she had 2 of the neighbor girls out there shagging the balls, that really helps out. Kinda funny, mommy has never played a sport in her life and DD is always trying to hit it at her.

Yes her knuckles are lined up. The bat jack really has helped her grip. The wind was howling today and yes the camera put a little extra pressure on her and me.

I would work on throwing. Nice slow controlled coil, step out and seperate and throw. Work on a slow rhythm.
Next pick a hitting sequence and do it in slow motion in front of a mirror.
With a bat.
Load, step out and seperate, go out to a toe touch with a flexed knee, balanced. Look up the matrix drill. Get the image of a good swing into the hitters mind by doing it in slow motion.
Read Hitters (Howard Carriers) posts
Book: Talent Code
DvD's: Bustos's video's and RVP ( right View pro) Instructional tape
Get a bat jack and start working on a good grip
Print pictures of college girls or pros at different stages of the swing, and in slow motion get her to get her body into these positions.
Get a feeling and an image in the mind of what and how a swing should look and feel.

A few things to add to SL great post is to use a tee to help get her mechanics down and she may already be using one. When using a tee practice tracking the ball, by looking at the area the pitcher will be see in your mind a pitcher releasing the ball and track the ball to the tee. You can take a rolled up sock, plastic ball etc stand behind a net go through the pitching motion release the ball into the net and the hitter track the ball from your hand to the ball on the tee.

She is stepping more toward 3rd base step should at the pitcher.

If she loves to practice as much as you say I can see some good things ahead for her. It will be more fun for her when she gets some good mechanics for her swing. Practice does not perfect it makes permanent, perfect practice makes perfect.

I would suggest to start from the ground up.

Check for a PM.
