The older guy in the video speaks with authority so he MUST know what he's talking about! I'm a little disappointed I didn't see a good bug squishing drill.

This is great comedy... FFS, good editing. In seriousness though, this is a lot of why so many people never reach a good swing.

So I started watching this, and one of the first things that struck me as awful was his insistence that few MLB hitters gain ground with the stride. Anybody with eyes can see that's not true. The back elbow... oh God, how dare it be up! Except... all MLB hitters do it.

Around the 6:30 mark, he starts railing against turning the barrel. I guess he prefers to drag it.

"MLB hitters don't hit great because they have good form. They hit great because they are world class athletes who overcome their swing flaws".

Or something to that effect, priceless.

For proof of this statement just take a look of their uploaded videos of the kids - I'm assuming - they have worked with.
