Do you still use/recommend the whip hit?

Yes ... a tad bit busy. The topic is an old one though that's been discussed before.

The instructions in the Whiphit manual should be burned IMO.

Does the tool have value and just not the instructions? I like alot are here to learn and validate what and how my daughter is being trained by her hitting coach and helping to reinforce it at home. The HC doesn't use the Whiphit but does use a rope bat occasionally like I posted above. Value????

FFS,
I dont recall the exact words she used for this drill. My daughter is a big girl for her age (12) 5'9". She used her upper body only prior to going to the HC. Her HC has been working on the lower body and quicker bat speed. She takes private lessons as well as clinics with this HC. During clinics the rope bat is one of the stations used from time to time. My daughter has come a long way and is hitting well. I will ask specifics at the next class.

Thanks Mleber ... it would help to know what is being emphasized at the time she is working with the gadget. It is important for your daughter as well ... as there is a belief that "active learning" is much more effective than simply performing a bunch of drills and hoping that osmosis sits in. Looking forward to hearing back on the POE.

I'd like to use for hand path and for turning the barrel or whipping the barrel through the zone. Are those things that can be emphasized with this?
