Twin 2 - 15 years old. A little different than her sister but still pretty decent. Like her sister, I see a couple things but always love checking out what everybody else sees or thinks too!!

Thanks again - see what you think!

She looks to be all back, then all forward.
In throwing, hips go forward as the hand goes back. Same for hitting.
You create separation between hands and back hip.

That is whay I have the girls do a few slow motion swings to feel that sequence.

A couple things to add to what SL already advise.

It looks like her hands are too tight, make sure she has her hands placed properly on the bat and have her open the hands at contact and the hands should be palm up and palm down. You do not want to hold the bat too tight a loose grip with the bat out on the finger tips not in the palm will help with a smoother swing.

I think the reverse hand drill would help with a little better extension, after contact you want to see a hitter stay on the ball for as long as possible think of hitting threw 3 balls and finish with a good extension and finish high.

She is "reaching" for the ball with her top half. Lead with the hips as mentioned. That will also allow the ball to get deeper.

She almost lunges. She will hit for power but she won't hit often against good pitching.

Ya, I didn't like how she is ending up with too much weight on her front leg. Usually she seems a little more even with her weight forward/back. She's been hitting a lot with the HS and I know they want her a little taller - not so bent over at the waist. Maybe it's just the ugly change of mechanics/balance.

On the reverse hand swing - what should she be trying to feel or do with that top hand. I got up and took a couple reverse hand swings but wasn't sure what my top hand should be feeling. A little help on this so I can explain it to her a little better! Thanks!

Press back with the open top hand. Pull through with bottom hand...
The way the front arm/elbow should go in the swing will be great if done right.
You should also have an awesome swing plane with a big extension

Thanks SL, we'll give it a shot as soon as we can. We have about an inch of snow in Portland, OR so the town is shut down! Lol It's a little cold in the garage with 25MPH winds and that 5 degree wind chill. Not that impressive compared to the rest of the country this winter but we don't get this weather - kind of like 1/2" of rain in California!! ;)

Now I see something on her swing with her head movement. My dd has a batting stance like Pujols, what she does sometimes is as she swings, her body wants to drive up or become more upright. Which causes her to get under the ball (pop up) we have saying stay low, drive low, it is just are way of saying, during her swing as she strides to keep her head at the same level. I looked at the tables in the background and your dd's head is at one level, drops as she is going to a coil and as she is swing goes up higher then the orginal level in her stance, a lot of head or eye movement.
