I don't quite understand. Where do you think the majority of the batspeed is generated?

I am a 25 year union carpenter...I fully understand how to pound nails and when wrist release happens.
Do I need to come to CT and bring my framing hammer, sledge hammer, 2 pnd hammer, roofing hammer, drywall hammer, and trim hammer???
SL
No, it's happening due to the start of her hip/lower body movement. The hips always start before the hands.

Agreed. Like I said before, she is exaggerating a point, not an accidental demonstration. I realize she does not swing like this.
My definition of bat drag is where the top hand is in a pull position. That is when you are truly dragging the bat IMO because both hands are in a pull position. CB's top hand is not in a pull position because her top hand is in front of her rear elbow. Therefore, she maintains lag until she torques the the bat with the wrists. I guess we can agree to disagree.
I will say however that she is exaggerating a point concerning bat lag. My guess is she is exaggerating the point to push forward the important point of a quick and powerful torque.[/QUOTE]
Never mind,I see you already answered the question.
