So here is something I noticed, with my dd, (on a side note she is still practicing, because she fells that her Dr. will change his mind about her playing) but that is another story. I have noticed that when she hits live, the inside low pitch she crushes, but outside pitches, she still hits well, but not as much force. Could that be a product of hitting the ball to far out in front. I think we will adjust to letting the ball get deeper and hit off the tee deeper and see what it does to hitting live. Wondering if we would be on the right track with that?

I got to get some work done....but last week I was doing some reading on Matt Kemps opposite field power. There are several articles and analysis on it, most explaining the benefits of being able to let the ball get deeper. One article talked about the writer watches several balls come off Kemps bat, dismisses them as rf pop flies, but they keep going and going. There really are some interesting reads and vids on him if you google it.

Abso-freaking-lutely!

At work - clips are on home computer, but here is one of players giving the SNF a shot....she would do better if she bent more at the hips as she turned her front shoulder down an in....

The God honest truth is that TM has looked at and been very helpful with my daughters swing. I don't know if this weeks blog is available to public...RD has seen it so I assume it is. The drills the boy is doing is the same my dd is instructed to do and what I would recommend....and the entry is G rated.

Don't like my honesty....then you can s$&u.....just kidding....thats a joke.

Thats why I tippy toe. I don't close the door to anyone when it comes to learning.

A little off OP topic....God knows I have never done that....but noon deserves a round of applause. A huge portion of swing clips you ever see....he made.

Piazza is another one that comes to mind seeing those oppo flyballs keep carrying.....Arod before Kevin Long turned him into a fence drill junkie....

Had to bring this over as it ties in with thinking the bat tip is the hand in a windmill throw and how the front arm works itself out...
