I see a pretty good swing but she is leading with her top half instead of her hips. She also appears to be rolling her wrists too soon; lead elbow not leading.

I totally agree with the top half thing , been trying to break that habit. The wrist roll is something that pops up every now and then when she isnt getting extension.

A drill I've had some success with for the hips I call a "check-swing" drill.

Have your DD take a good swing and hold her pose (freeze).
From that position have her bring her hands back to launch position while her hips remain where they are now.
This should resemble a checked swing.
Have her hit from this position.
The hits will not feel strong. Doesn't matter. We are working on the hips leading. She will feel muscles that she hasn't felt before. Mostly in the torso (abs) and in the rear calf.
Have her hit 10 pitches from this position as a set, continuously maintaining the hips in the finish position. IOW, hips forward, hands back. Exaggerate it. Feel like a pretzel.
You will see noticeable results after each set. IOW, so-so swing? Do a set. See a better swing. :)

Obviously , I can toss harder and flatter , LOL - I understand your point there. As far as the hands , just basically it is her most comfortable position (we have tried several)

Get her a tee and throw down something for a home plate. Or, pitch whiffles to her from the front. She is trying to guide that ball into the net. Watch her at 1:15, when she forgets to put the ball in the net and actually hits one. I think she has better mechanics than she is showing, on this video.

I would agree with this. She has a tee work routine that she does and has better mechanics than this most of the time. I also think she tries to guide the ball into the net when we toss (my tossing was terrible today also )

Worked a little with this drill tonight. It seemed to really help. Tomorrow I will post another video from practice and see if you can see a difference.
