Is there to much push off the back foot/forward momentum being used? I like when the back foot skips forward a little, although it might be moving due to the forward momentum.

Maybe I really don’t know to be honest... I believe one of the contributing factors is that she has mediocre to poor hip joint mobility. What you are seeing is supposedly an affect of that.

Is it poor mobility or just her way of creating rotation? I found that if I just "let" the hips rotate it's much better then "trying" to rotate the hips.

The act of trying to rotate the hips can result in interfering with muscles. Let the muscles do what their meant to do.

She isn’t trying to rotate that has been a major focus point in the last year or so... The lack of ankle mobility will also play a big role in the action of the foot. Below is a link for a couple more swings that IMO has very little momentum involved. Not a very good angle though. I am a firm believer in that you will rotate faster by trying to not rotate.

The 'power' of this swing is all hip rotation. It is a 2 move swing. Drop hands and then rotate.
Posting this because there is a big difference.

I'm guessing you are using a machine that measures exist velocity ect.......
Again JMHO.
Added: Front hip pivot point not rear hip.

What do you believe powers the swing?
