A brief exchange with Coach Enquist a few years ago got me thinking about this. Some years ago, I asked her about some teachings of her's in an old VHS series I found in the library. She suggested that there were many teachings from years past that she wished she could go back and change, but that the process of learning and growing often means that you teach now--in full confidence--knowing that in a year or two, you might look back and regret what you taught in full confidence.. Sometimes it's not the information, but the presenter that inspires, motivates and helps form the champion.

I stole this one from a book I am reading:

"In times of change, learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists." - Eric Hoffe

But it inspired me to write my own quote:

" Always keep learning because the 'know it alls' of today, will be reduced to the 'knew it alls' come tomorrow." - Rolling Hard

Every hitting coach Should take note when trying to evolve and be the best coach you can be. This has always resonated with me.

“Be mild in your beliefs, but strong in your curiosity”. - Craig Wallenbrock.
