Thanks for the kind words.

The tee is set deep to encourage turning the barrel deeper, and discouraging the hands pushing forward. I believe the instruction was to hit the inside half of the ball.

Thank you. I ask because that is a very tough setup. You probably have noticed... but watch the circular hand path and no extension. With that setup...I would want her going to opposite field/guiding hands/throwing barrel more to opposite field... with earlier hip extension/less hip rotation. Which would make it more of a 45 degree drill. I am a fan of go drills, 45 degree and stretch & fire ect....because they allow working TTB and still getting to extension. If someone with a good swing is not making solid contact...they are often pulling across the ball rather than thru the ball. Not sure this drill helps fix that...in the most useful way or if that is a problem. Was just curious what the intent was here. Keep up the good work!

She's been getting heavier doses of 45 deg and SNF drills recently. I'm aware of her issues, some of which have become more pronounced recently, and you have exactly nailed them. Currently, her instruction is not lead by me, but by a coach that I trust (recent change). She stopped listening to me years ago. Now, I pay people to say the things I want to tell her.

In Tuesday's game, Maddie dropped a sky shot just barely short of the fence. Last night, she got it all the way there. First HS homerun (and first OTF on her team this season)...

I gotta say Eric. Swing looks pretty damn good. The load is much more efficient and in balance. The slight elongated front arm going forward isn’t an issue until it is. If you know what I mean. It’s really not an issue. But adjusting to the inside can/will be tougher when there is heat coming. On the right track sir. Jmho. Nice job once again.

Question: how Is her adjustability?

Thanks for the kind words, W. I agree that the lengthening of the front arm could be an issue. This is a remnant of arm bar issues from her younger days (muscle memory patterns are hard to break!). As she tightens up her HPP, I expect this to get a better. She is discovering the value of hover/float, and starting to learn how to use it for adjustability. This pitcher wasn't a velocity challenge, and hopefully some of the changes she is working on will be in place the next time she faces the best pitchers in her league.

Also...she gets the credit. All of it. I drive and pay people who say the things that I want her to hear. She stopped listening to me a while ago.

No bat flip? I am disappointed in her ;)
