Won't comment on the swings other than to say that if you are trying to generate bat speed using forward momentum you
are going to have problems. Use whatever style your DD is comfortable with and work on what is important regarding
generation of bat speed.

Not sure why you mentioned that pattar, that's not something we think about or practice. She's a no stride hitter, so that's what she's comfortable with

Well adding the stride will increase her forward momentum hence I thought perhaps you thought doing so would also increase her bat speed. That was my logic :)
Other than the stride the swings look basically the same to me.

Actually I was hoping to increase separation.. but didn't work out to well.. shes not use to it

I would say more bat speed could be generated by better load with the hands. Ignoring the question of bat speed I would offer this: watch both clips and just watch her head. I would speculate the no stride method for her would result in a much higher batting average solely because her eye level doesn’t change nearly as much as the stride. My daughter is an open stance/stride hitter and when her hitting coach honed in on sitting down and staying down to keep the eye level more constant her average doubled and she went from 10% of balls to the OF to about 75%.
