Can any one point me to a indoor batting/hitting cages that offer Hittrax(or similar device). My location is Delaware county PA. I'm curious to see what DD's metrics(exit velocity, launch angle, attack angle.....) would look like. Thanks in advance.

The closest that I saw is Extra Innings, but neither seem to be super close, but I don't know much about PA. There is one in Bensalem, and one in Mt Laurel, NJ. They seem to be the closest I could find. Some of their facilities have HitTrax.

Yes, close enough to me. Now I have to wait until 11:00 for them to open UP. I guess no one hits early....

Just a FYI but it will not show you your attack angle......

OK going to rain around here tomorrow. So, made an appointment at Extra Innings to use the Hittrax. Curious to see what DD's numbers are....

Cool deal..... DD enjoys using Hittrax very much...... I am sure you will be very tempted to take a few swings yourself, just be aware if your DD beats you you may never hear the end of it ;)

Enjoy it! We have never used HitTrax but wouldn't mind trying it out. Bensalem is a bit if a drive for us, but we would make a day out of it.

In my opinion some of the metrics are more valuable than others. Some are really dependent on pitch location and timing. I think exit velocity would be the most valuable one to review. Things like launch angle will vary from pitch to pitch based on a number of things. I like the fact that they will estimate travel distance. I assume they developed a formula to compare exit velocity and launch angle to predict that distance. Cool stuff...

Exit velocity is what I'm most curious about. Wish I had a base too compare it to from 2 years ago. DD started weight lifting 2 years ago summer before freshman year of college. I believe DD got a lot stronger.
