Blue flame pitching machine is @200, throws 45. Still need to pay attention but should be fast enough for your DD at 35 or 40 feet. Probably cheaper in the long run then cage.

Should be able to get at least half your money back when it is not fast enough anymore.

It is just a spring loaded catapult. Pretty much launch anything you want. Water balloons get launched fine.

If DD gets annoyed at me she aim at me so you do need to pay attention and learn to duck.

Yeah - wiffle balls sounded like a good idea for me to - but I had to stand so close to be accurate, that by Kindergarten it was already getting to be too dangerous!

We have a pitching machine without a L screen yet. We have the cage, machine, now we just need the L screen. I don't mind the wiffle balls shooting back at me.

You're a braver man than I. I don't like the sting of wiffles.

"With regards to bolded, try throwing from closer (15 feet or so)" little scared to do this she can rip it, and sometimes from 20-25 I barely have time to defend myself. might need to use net.

Invest in a Power Net with a pitching screen. You can find them on Amazon and Ebay. Either that, or make sure your medical and life insurance is in order!

I pitch from ~ 20 feet away. With my speed, reaction time is similar. It's very effective BP.

I use a bownet to pitch front toss to my DD, just stand 10 feet back from the bownet when pitching
