My niece transitioned from LL baseball to FP softball one year ago and my brother had picked up 3 Zooka portable battery powered baseball pitching machines from an auction he won. Can practice hitting off of these machine in any way affect her FP softball hitting? The machines have been collecting dust since then and finding a softball pitching machine is a bit difficult around here.

I think it is fine.

Where she might get tied up is that you do no want to use a good SB bat to hit baseballs. DD does occasionally but if your niece is going to hit a lot of baseballs you want to get her a practice bat.

(Blue and black flame are spring loaded machines and can throw softballs about 45 MPH, cost @200)

Quincy, yup, thought about that, figured we would find a used baseball bat for practice that is the same weight and length, thanks for the quick reply.
