OK, two moms from my daughters school want their daughters to come try softball.(10 yr olds). They know I coach and know my DD is really good gold allstar nationals player, so they want me to help them get them ready to join fall rec ball. My DD has great eye hand coordination and has been playing since she was 5 years old. She has a very good swing. A little BR mix with Justin Stone. So what is the fastest and best way to build a swing for a 10 year old that has never held a bat before? Both girls are relatively athletic (dance and gym) thank God.Any beginners drills that will start them off on the right foot? I want to avoid casting right from the start because my experience is that once they cast (early extension) it is very difficult to change. I really don't like to teach extension especially the push the hands thru stuff.
I like this one, but perhaps too much for beginner?
