Hey, I actually have a few! Baseball of course, if the weather holds and teams sign up, her first softball tourney is a one day this Sunday. I'll be recording all of them so hope to have some good shots.

This is what started our entire swing journey. The first video of her swing I ever uploaded. Man, almost 6 years ago. How time flies. :( She was 8 here. https://youtu.be/taZdOm4xutI Bat draaaaaag :D But she'd hit the ball hard. LOL
This is from the last game she played in, Nov of this past year. All women's tournament (with lots of the Team USA Women's team on a few different teams), and this is from her all girl's team. A group of 12-14yo girls that took 2nd. This is at Dodgertown in Vero Beach, FL. Dead center is 400ft. She dropped this about 20 feet shy. I recorded the whole game so thrilled I chose that one to record! https://youtu.be/zwpot8CwbOU

Really like the slight pause/adjustment in the 13 year old swing. Nice adjustability! She certainly hit it on the button.

She's always been very "simple" -- I wonder if she'll add (I know you or her won't force it) more dynamic actions as she gets older or if she'll feel like she's comfortable where she is. Her swing is a little against the current trend of tips, hand pumps and front knee kicks. Look forward to seeing how she continues to develops. Congrats to her hard work.

Mentioning the pause, I assume you are talking about my DD. She doesn't usually do that, but I think she was feeling challenged by this pitcher (she was pretty good), and I've seen her go to this type of pre-launch pause movement when she feels like she needs to be a little quicker.

We shall see how things develop as she matures. Simple is working well for her right now. In the fall, she was experimenting with some pre-launch hand movement. It was causing her issues with timing and being able to square up pitches, and her hitting struggled.

Looked like an adjustment to a slightly slower than expected pitch, I thought it was good -- much better than being out ahead and grounding out to short :)

Style things like pre-launch hand/bat movement to me have to occur organically. Telling somebody, especially a developing hitter, to do them is going to cause the problems you mentioned. One day she might just start doing it and she may not even know she is doing it....
