Good advice given so far and technically I really have nothing to add. The only thing I will say, which you probably already know, is that 99.9% of the time if you want to be a good hitter you have practice hitting... a lot.
Sounds like she has really concentrated on pitching so some of the issues may just be from a lack of reps. If she is serious about making herself a hitter she will have to spend as least as much time hitting as she does pitching.
Tee swings, front toss swings, self toss swings, dry swings in the mirror..lots and lots of swings :D

A safety tip...Compare anything you hear about hitting to slow motion video of what the best in the game actually do. (Hansen Principle)

For the video links above...The Justin Stone video I posted earlier does a better job with outlining a better hitting sequence (IMO, YMMV). I dislike the bat drag video. The "correct" action being demonstrated promotes an out-front push, which is not part of an elite swing.

This might be helpful for understanding a few different concepts...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W_4nI31DmI&t=29s&list=PLLo_t691U8DVQCriImV9Kt44VdEI6iFir&index=15

There is a reason Justin Stone talks about fixing 5 flaws with 1 drill. Whether you agree with his terminology or not, the truth is that many flaws can be fixed just by getting a hitter in the proper sequence. You can certainly search the internet/youtube and find all kinds of instruction/drills to fix this or that. Unfortunately, in some cases all you are doing is masking one problem by promoting another problem. My suggestion is to build the foundation first, and then move on to the next step.

Just an FYI. I agree with the others who stated that your DD has a number of challenges with her swing. But those challenges are not uncommon. As you become more adept at recognizing what a good swing looks like, you will notice similar patterns at every field you visit. Good luck from a fellow 'pitcher's dad'!!

Thanks for posting a link to that video. I have not seen that before and it may be the best video i have seen about good swing mechanics. When I first opened up the link I was thinking damn, I don't have time to watch a 25 minute video, I don't want to watch this. I ended up watching the whole video and it was very good.

Important part slowed down

Something to develop to help to turn the barrel correctly is to learn to use your back.

Commonly known as your shoulder blade. Also called the scap. Learn to pinch it against your spine using only back muscles - do not use your shoulder. Connect your hands to your back.

Then learn to turn the handle/knob (which will turn the barrel) like this:

If you notice the knob never shows itself to the camera. Also notice how the barrel turns rearward as the rear leg is turning forward.

Base on your prior posts, I suspect you've spent more than 25 minutes watching pitching videos and you know that there are no shortcuts or magic drills that miraculously turn your DD into an ace overnight. Well, the same holds for hitting. Be patient and work the process. EricF's 11 and 12 yr old Maddie threads should serve you and your DD well.

Yes I have spent a lot time trying to find both pitching and hitting videos. I have found more than my fair share of what I would personally consider poor video's on You Tube on both hitting and pitching. That video shared is one of the good videos. I really liked how Tewks went into detail about 3 different swings that I commonly see. I saved that video in my bookmarks.
