So THAT's what they mean when they say Lateral Tilt... :D

Curious if you used any particular website or drills to teach her that swing? (looks like it may incorporate some concepts from Baseball Rebellion, with the long extension / follow-through).

We have a membership for the hitting vault. When we first started she had basically no extension. I have tried to emphasize extension through the zone, and just let the follow through happen. I have a video of a little softtoss we did tonight.

The swing is not nearly as aggressive, and I think the follow through looks more natural. She called herself on hands starting too early before her foot was down. Would like to have some people's thoughts on whether her hands are dropping too low, and instead there should be a slightly steeper angle to the bat.

Things change a lot when a moving ball is factored in.
I don't see a barrel turn. Her first move is to slacken the backside and lower the hands in an attempt to get on plane early. See this happening before her foot lands, opposite what you see in the gifs of Bonds and Cabrera and even her own tee swing. Each swing was a little different. In one, the rear elbow got way out in front of the hands but that didn't seem to be the case in every swing. I think your hitting gurus will tell you she's out of sequence and needs to use her hands and forearms correctly, turning the barrel, maintain the box, etc.
My 11yr old starts similar. Different on the tee than with a moving ball. Because she doesn't do the same things on the tee or is less pronounced, I figure I have to help her with that sequence on a pitched ball. Maybe starting simple by throwing a ball and just have her create separation like in the above gifs, without swinging, then work on turning the barrel as well. I've also seen a thread here where a pallet or makeshift wall is used and placed between the hitter and tee forcing the hitter to a more diagonal approach, hands above the ball, allowing the barrel to get down and through. I think you might help your daughter with a little less arc on the toss.
Those are my thoughts. I don't mind being corrected. I'm learning and wanting to help my kid too.

Her chin strap must be really tight on her helmet.. :).... My DD's head really started to dip as well as she started to learn more about lateral tilt and attempting to extend. I asked this question in a previous thread, Is anybody here a little concerned about how much movement there is with this hitters head. Also, long term (wear and tear) couldn't this lead to injury (neck, back, hip..etc). Is this healthy? I'm obviously not a hitting instructor, but that does not look natural to me. Just curious.

IMO we are way off the mark here with this kid. There is so much good here in this tee swing.....

I see her "back" at launch, her rear hip getting behind her rear leg, deep barrel turn, barrel depth, explosive, violent. Just listen to that ball come off her bat in the youtube video! I can't remember a DD video posted by a user in recent history that is better than this kid.....

Soft toss swing does look totally different but that is so common due to the timing issues side toss creates. I would be interested in seeing a front toss swing......

I do agree there is a lot going right which is why I did not suggest a lot but as other said it's also the reason I really wanted to see front toss or BP I had a pretty good feeling the swing wouldn't be as agressive and that is fairly natural. I'm not as worried about hands dropping because some of that has to do with the tossing and a few low tee drills can help with that later if it gets too bad. Also very good if she realizing on her own she needs to stay back as she strides forward again one of the things I really liked about her swing but she has to be able to stay back when it's live pitching. Keep up the work again for 9 alot of good things going on.

From what I know about a good swing, which I admit is very little there are a lot of good things happening. However, I have played a lot of sports, one in particular at a high level and I would not encourage this type of movement for any athlete. The stress being placed on her neck, hip, back etc after contact looks like an injury waiting to happen.. she looks in a very vulnerable position for injury. And this is a pitch at upper thigh, can't imagine how sever the movement/angle would be on a lower pitch. It's great that she has a good swing, but if she ends her swing in this position, the risk is not worth the reward, not for my DD anyway

...Please see RDBASS's post above for the full extension

It is not uncommon for a portion of the body to move in the opposite direction while attempting to apply force to move an object.

High level hitters often have their front hip rotating rearward as the barrel is swung forward.

It's perfectly normal to have a body segment moving in the opposite direction in which you are trying to move an object.

Notice here that the barrel is moving in the opposite direction as the young girl's head.
