Not here.
There's SNF in the gifs posted. Also the hips are turning and there is 'pulling back' and separation.
"open" position or not is a style thing no?
Yes, it's a style not an absolute. My DD uses an open to closed style like A. McCutchen.

So what should I focus on? Front shoulder staying in?

If it were my DD, I would focus on the pullback and separation of the upper body and then trying to hold that separation/pullback as she starts to turn her hips. At some point she won't be able
to resist it anymore as the lower body is stronger and that will slot the swing. The shoulder staying
in will be a result of doing those things correctly. Look at Griffey's pullback of his upper body (e.g. moving his upper elbow toward 1st base dugout) and
separation (distance created between hands and rear hips..also sometimes called walking away from the hands) in the below clip.

My 7 year old DD has similar issues (my DD's are more pronounced and she has other problems) with an arm powered swing..

Your DD already seems to do the SNF when she stayed open, like the Ragin Cajun hitters. It's just when she tries to go from open to close is when she doesn't seem to have the same mechanics/sequence. I prefer going from and open stance to closed in my DD. Open stance is a style choice.
I asked already but, you seemed to not answer my question. Is your DD afraid of getting hit by a pitched ball? If so, that is what you need to 'address' first.

Personally I want to say no. But seeing that it happens in games but not in b.p. I guess I would say yes somewhat. But she is not running out of the box on an inside pitch.

Agree that bold needs to be answered...not sure I agree that her original swing had much SNF going on though. In the game clip once she gets to her actual hitting handset position (after she lifts the bat off her shoulder) seems to me
she pretty much just slots right from there..what am I missing (serious question..just trying to learn) ?

No DD just stays open. Which allows her to see that the pitch isn't going to hit her. It's along the line of making sure the pitch is a strike before starting her swing. DD needs to fix the possible fear of getting hit.

So my DD is struggling with her front foot.
She went to an open stance about a year ago now.
Reasons for it was to help with front foot flying open and to see the ball better.
Well we are seeing the ball better but the front foot issue really hasn't changed. I will say 85% of the time it's coming open more.
[...]She hits a lot to right field I believe it's because her foot is coming open and causes everything else to also.

I haven't viewed the video - and I'll ask this anyway in case by some freak occurrence it was missed by rdbass and others - is her foot AND hips opening early? It might be in the technical forum, but there's a recent thread with several gifs showing the front leg turning (opening) but the hips staying closed. So if you're daughter resists (or is unable to re-learn) landing with her foot more closed, try working with her so that she can learn (and feel!) how to turn her foot/leg without opening the hips.

Regarding your last comment about keeping the front shoulder "closed" - Justin Stone has a few videos on you tube where he mentions this - in reply to coaches constantly saying "keep your head in there", or "keep your shoulder in" - he'd rather focus on the scap load - by keeping it "loaded", the front shoulder stays closed. Which leads back to the other part of your comment - closed front shoulder (loaded scap?) helps create the tension / separation needed to power the swing.
