56F game temp today. 8 year old DD (10 year old size) wants to use her new 30/19 LXT in her game today. She was hitting bombs yesterday with it but it was in the mid 80s. Should I let her use or make her use her 29/18 one more time? I think the chances of her breaking it or pretty slim, but can cold weather take the pop out of a bat permanently? I realize they don't perform as well in colder weather.

This something on the warranties about temperature, I ignore it.

DD has not had had any Issues, especially on a bright 56 degree day. Sounds like summer to me.

I think so.

Not sure were is from but wait until they play in freezing rain, rather have snow. Those freezing rain games are brutal.

I am from Texas. We are not use to such chilli days in April. I let her use and she got a couple of doubles.

If we didn't ignore those temperature warnings, we wouldn't get to use any of the good bats until the season was over.

I'm from Texas too and after transplanting to New England it's a little shocking. If we didn't brings our good bats out at 56 degrees we couldn't use them til May.

Usually if it's warm enough to play it warm enough to hit with the good bat. When I saw thread I was thinking maybe he is talking about below 40.

We have played in colder temps with our bats in the Midwest and we haven't had any issues. I couldn't speak to what it does to the bat long term.
