Hitting Seats

That is a great question and probably why Nebraska has come up with their seat. I am constantly looking for different size stools. For now, we have one that seems to be mid range and does ok. As you can see from BB's demonstration, she is a little too tall for it. She's 6 feet tall.

Last Monday was our first hitting lesson with Joe Guthrie - former Penn State hitting coach and now Bucknell assistant coach. He used the same seat as pictured. I didnt catch it all as far as the technical explanation but did catch that it was what they credited the last 2 years at Penn State having there best hitting years and also at Bucknell to this tool.

You now have a homework assignment, due one week after your next hitting lesson. Length, single- or double-spaced, at your discretion.
