Sure looks like a down to the ball swing here:

it does, but even here she has a positive attack angle at impact so she "swings down to get up" on the ball.

Here is an interesting comparison between the two instructional swings and the cage swing

Not defending her, but even in the video she said freshman year she resisted the change and then finally bought in. The video of her taking BP at OU looks a few years old. Could it be from that period?

I think the biggest thing that makes the teaching video an obvious fail it to look at hand position. In the gym she has her hands almost down at her waist it would be physically impossible to hit a ball say somewhere between her lower ribcage and bellybutton (I will grant that is the top of the strike zone in plenty of NCAA games) but it would still be something pitchers would exploit.

It might be interesting though if you could look at her high ball and low ball swings, I wonder if she does employ the swing she is teaching say on 85% of those pitches that are at the thighs and knees but then employ a different technique for a higher pitch. I don't know that you could adjust that quickly but maybe she can? I do remember from the previous thread she does keep her lead arm really tight but again I remember that being a low pitch. Unless of course she actually is swinging down and trying to intercept the ball as the bat arcs down; I'm pretty sure nobody is that good or consistent, given you create zero margin for error.
