What I've seen is coaches have different styles and different teaching methods. I also believe college coaches look to coach to college level pitching meaning your dd may hit her level pitching great now but could have some swing flaws that will not show up until she sees higher level pitching. My dd dealing with that now. Her hitting instructor shortening and changing not to hit what she sees now but what she will see in 5 years

I'm not sure what you're saying. Of course, coaches have different styles and methods. Yes, college coaches do look to coach their hitters to produce at a high level.

But that doesn't mean all college coaches have a good understanding of how to do that. What flaws do you see that often need to be fixed? What is your DD's instructor changing in her swing to make her better equipped to handle college pitching?

If it's level shoulders, door-knocker knuckles, knob-to-the-ball, swing down and through, limit all movement, I'd be concerned.
