That is ridiculous.
But then, someone told me last night, that "pitching coaches" in Phoenix are charging $70.00 an hour.

I went to a woman in Scottsdale and had her give ME a lesson before I decided whether to have her work with my granddaughter. She charges $40 for a HALF hour lesson. IOW $80 per hour.
BTW I didn't go back. Two reasons why; too expensive and she taught "hello elbow." She kept telling me to follow through to my throwing hand, shoulder. It made my arm hurt, and I couldn't throw strikes.
You guys from the PHX area, need to come down to Marana, on Sat. and I will work with you as long as you want. $25.00 for the first participant and $10.00 for each additional person. Car pool and I will even make sandwiches.

It is not uncommon to see $35-$40 for a 30 minutes Pitching lesson....
Crazy to me but it is the going rate.
