Anyone with some different or new tips/tricks/drills for throwing?
Trying to eliminate the dropping of the elbow on some of my girls.

Thanks.

I'll check it out.
You're talking about the $50 book/e-book he has out there?

Good luck with the dropped elbow. The best I've done is to make them throw hard and long until they get tired of hearing me tell them to keep their elbow up. It will force the elbow up some and there can be improvements. Wasserman is excellent. We use water bottles a lot for drills (Kobata) and then follow with live throwing. I have yet to see a player 100% cured. If there is, I'd certainly appreciate knowing the way.

I've started working with a 10U team this month on throwing using Wasserman's stuff -- not my team, I'm helping them out while my 18U team is in HS season. The young girls are doing great with it. Frankly, they were a wreck when I first met them. The drills are fun and work. You really have to introduce them to how their bodies work along with doing the drills. So much happens under the hood with throwing (and hitting) that you can't see until you feel it -- as a coach or as a player. Wasserman's stuff helps both coaches and players see and feel (and teach and learn) throwing in a new way. Good stuff.

BTW, I changed our 18U throwing warmups based on Wasserman this fall and saw some good progress with some girls (who had aha moments) and other girls who immediately revert back to bad (not terrible, but not optimal) throwing patterns once they go live.

Burn those good patterns in early!! :)

I'm working with my JV girls but some of them need to get back to some basics to correct what's wrong.
Thanks.
