DD wants to do fielding on her Christmas break at the local batting cages. I hate doing it there because they are so long and narrow. Any suggestions on some good fielding drills for that situation. I usually just hit balls to her anywhere else since I don't have a lot of knowledge in that area. I was thinking about using her agility ladder with some of the work we do.

So Cal
I remember seeing a clip of a player on her knees, working forehand and backhand glove skills. Seems like a good one to use in a limited space.

That's probably what we call the one hop drill or one bounce drill, which is great. I'll do that for sure...it's been awhile. DD's been known for having a good glove but not the best footwork. It may have improved with the loss of weight and all the work this fall but it had been an area to work on...

Not here.
Can you DD work out with her old Tourney team over the winter break or other teams. That's what my DD is going to do for indoor work out.

That's a good idea RD. Her old team is an hour away so we probably won't do that but she might be playing on a new 23U team so I'll check into that. I'm not sure if they have a practice location though.
