The question is ,as I understand it is will Length alone make a difference Providing all other things are equal?? Well yes and no. A longer bat has the atvantage of leverage.
If the ball was hit near the end or on the sweet spot of a 35 inch bat it would travel farther than one hit by a 30 inch bat.

Provided the speed at the contact point was the same. There is a reason why they came up with length limitations. And why Coaches fungoes are so long.
I was a well above average hitter at one time with better than average power.
I once hit a 470 foot HR with a wood bat. I would struggle with 300 with metal now.
BUT with a 37 inch wood fungoe bat I can get it to the fence at 377 pretty easy.

But you have to have the strength to swing the longer bat. The longer bat also has the effect of "Negative Leverage", Like others have said "It FEELS heaveir.

I would not go overly long unless the girl is pretty big and strong.:)
