it'd be funnier if i didn't see it happening around here.. more in volleyball and football but i digress..

It is what it is...the world itself isn't going to be clean or fair most of the time, but it was a joke with all the admission scandal going on.

I don't wanna pull away from AD's post though...so back to his nice complex that he said he would come up and build on my property as well ;)

ANNASDAD Funny, I saw a facebook post in our org about a girl that's apparently on your DD's team. I'm thinking, "Hey, I know that field!" :D

I've never played the lottery before, but I think I'm going to give it a try......and I'm feeling pretty good about my chances! WHEN I WIN, I'm going to probably give 90% of it away. BUT, there's going to be a fully enclosed softball dome / facility built right here in Gaston County that will make everyone jealous! Teams will be knocking on my door and burning my phone up in the Winter!

I'm going to book tournaments during the worst weather.......raining, not inside here! 103 degrees, nope not inside here! 26 degrees, nope your bat is safe inside of my house!

And Todd, with whatever's left, heck yeah, I'll fly up there and we'll build you a complex with a bat showroom and demo display area that rivals any in the good ole U.S.A. Everyone will know the Batman:cool:, maybe even a Glove showroom too with only serious gloves, real gloves, the gloves of OUR choice! The first Dad who comes to the counter and asks for a glove with velcro, we'll beat him with the most expensive dual-stamp bat until he gets his head straight!

Oh yeah, I knew you were joking about the recruiting comment......but I actually wish it were true sometimes, Lord knows we need all the help we can get!

Hahahahaha, the dreams we all have. Im gonna hold you to that when you win :)

Funny, my dream was moving somewhere warmer and doing the same thing. YOCOACH and I were gonna build a little housing development for DFP'ers we like and have
fields right in the middle with a great softball outlet...and yes, only high end gloves and NO Velcro :),
Surrounded by a moat so the real world cant get in...haha

And no, we didn't start a list because neither of our luck is worth a damn :)

hendersonville, just south of asheville

Beautiful area, know the area pretty well, used to mountain bike at Bent Creek, Pisgah, and DuPont quite a bit, very easy places to die! One of my phases in life, went through the golf phase, got pretty good pretty fast, when I started dating my wife I was a legitimate 5 handicap. Of course you know how that ended:rolleyes:.

I think Anna 4 when I started mountain biking, hardest thing I’ve ever done!! At that time we lived 3 or 4 miles from the U.S. Whitewater center in Charlotte. I used to ride there 4 times a week after work, I’d usually get 8 to 10 miles in, which 8 to 10 miles in the woods is equal to almost double that on the road!

Then when Anna started playing ball, biking went away, lousy excuse on my part! Mountain biking is something I vow to start doing again, I’ll probably die though! There’s was nothing more relaxing than pushing yourself in the woods after work, you sleep very good!

Maybe we could meet up at Sierra Nevada , and talk to a couple of beer executives about a donation towards a new state of the art softball complex in your area!! Or.....we could just meet up at Sierra Nevada wink wink!
